| The original Jack's Sandwich Shop was located at 222 N. High Street, on the corner of Hickory and High Streets in downtown Columbus, Ohio. In 1976, Jack's opened in it's current downtown location, at 52 E. Lynn Street behind the James A. Rhodes State Office Tower near the corner of Broad and High Streets. Jack's is currently owned by Chris & Kathy Kowalski, who understand there's no secret to Jack's long-lasting appeal: "We keep things simple and serve good food at affordable prices." Jack's has been serving Columbus' downtown diners for over 50 years. During that time, the skyline has changed, but we're still doing things the way they did on their first day of business. So, when you hear someone say "they don't make em' like they used to" tell them they're wrong - and then take them to Jack's. |
